Back To School

Well, as all the youngins are finishing their school year, I am beginning mine.  Tomorrow marks the first day of orientation for the Physician Assistant class of 2010 at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.  It also marks the beginning of an hour commute each way for me.  And so, I am going to start a new endeavor to try and make up some of the reading time lost driving, in class, and (sigh) studying. And that endeavor is the audio book!  I’m going to begin with Joe Hill’s Heart-Shaped Box, which is supposed to be very spooky.  So reviews will ensue…

Audiobooks are great! I have a 40-minute commute each way, so that plus a few hours a week in the gym helps me get a lot more “reading” done. It’s really the only way I can keep up now.

I really like listening to books, too. It’s even fun to listen to books on audio after having read themself. It opens up even more imagining when you hear someone reading it to you.

Good luck with your new venture.
