Caught My Eye

Mr. Peanut by Adam Ross sounds a bit disturbing.  A dark tale about three marriages and the balance between violence and love.

Evangeline by Ben Farmer is historical fiction from the 18th century about two lovers separated by hundreds of miles and Evangeline’s cross country journey to find her love.

I’ve read The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and that was of course fantastic, albeit dark.  Blood Meridian seems up both my dad and my own alley.  It’s a Western set on the Texas-Mexican border.
